Pricing Information

I follow general pricing guidelines when estimating the cost of client projects. As much as possible, I try to stick to the cost estimates I give. Occasionally, issues arise that make the project more difficult than expected. If this happens on your project, I will discuss the issue with you before proceeding with work that would increase the cost of your quilting job.

Edge-to-Edge:

  • $0.02 per square inch for low density

  • $0.025 per square for medium density

  • $0.03 per square for high density

Semi-Custom:

  • $0.03—$0.045 per square inch

Custom:

  • $0.05—$0.06 per square inch

Note:

  • I have a minimum fee of $50.00 per top regardless of the size.

  • I offer additional Quilt Prep and Finishing Services detailed in the Longarm Project Intake Summary Sheet available for download.

Thread:

I stock a wide variety of Superior brand threads, and can advise you on color selection. Cost of one thread color is included in quilting fees listed above. Additional thread colors are $5 per color change. There is a bobbin fee of $1.25 per bobbin. (A typical queen size quilt loosely quilted Edge-to-Edge uses about 5-6 bobbins.)

Batting:

I use both “Warm & Natural” and “Quilter’s Dream” brand batting products. I buy in bulk from both venders and can generally offer good prices. I can quote you a price once I know which brand you are interested in, the type of fiber (cotton, 80/20, poly, bamboo, wool, etc.), and the dimensions of your top.

Quilting Designs:

I have 1000+ designs in my pattern library. If you choose a design from my library, there is no additional charge. If I purchase a design for your project, I will split the design cost with you. (Your half of typical design costs would be approximately $5-$10 per design.)

DISCLAIMER:

Finally, longarm machines are mechanical devices. I do my best to ensure that you will be thrilled with my results every time. However, on very rare occasions, mechanical problems can occur which may cause minor damage to a quilt top and/or backing. If this occurs on your top, I will contact you and we will work together to come up with the best remedy for the given situation.

Thank you for trusting me with your quilt top! Annette
